Linocut is an art technique, where the image is carved onto a linoleum sheet, then covered with ink by a special roller and then it is pressed onto the paper or fabric to leave the image.
Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Torsten Billman all used linocut in their art. Usually they are printed in limited numbers, and each print has its own unique number.
